The Knysna Speed Festival
It’s all systems go for the 13th edition of the Simola Hillclimb scheduled for 4 – 7 May 2023.
When we set out on this journey, we were told that few would come to Knysna for a purely motorsport event, but with vision and hard work we have built a local motorsport lifestyle showcase that attracts competitors, spectators and broadcast viewers from around the globe.
CCPP Group Lions Karoo to Coast Mountain Bike Challenge
September 25th 2022 – The Lions Karoo to Coast Mountain Bike Challenge is a 100km off road race from UNIONDALE to KNYSNA via the Prince Alfred’s Pass. The route is scenic, challenging and riders are encouraged to train sufficiently for this event in order to maximise the enjoyment of the experience.
Knysna Oyster Festival
Dates to be announced – Attracting sport enthusiasts, families, food- and wine-lovers and adrenalin junkies, the festival offers something for everyone from running, cycling, golfing and adventure racing to wine and whisky tastings, cooking competitions, food and wine pairings, gala evenings, live music, a children’s programme and, of course, oysters.
Knysna Extreme 0.5
19th November 2022 – SA’s best half distance triathlon. The Knysna Extreme 0.5 is a shorter alternative to the Knysna Extreme Triathlon and serves as an introduction to the world of extreme triathlons. With an altitude gain of nearly 1,700m over a total distance of 132.50 km, the Knysna Extreme 0.5 offers an exciting challenge for athletes.
