Come and enjoy good old fashioned farm fun with us!

As you turn onto Highway West Road, you enter a world where time stands still. Rheenendal is known for its magical ancient forests, cycling and hiking trails and quaint eateries such as Tottie’s Farm Kitchen.

Fernhill Guest Farm has 4 self-catering Pet Friendly Cottages overlooking the horse camps.  Guest are encouraged to interact with our animals and enjoy farm life with us.  Learn how to milk a cow by hand, rub a pig’s fat belly, feed the chickens and be greeted daily by our friendly horses coming to the cottage fence to say hello.

The cottages have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, which has a sleeper couch for a fifth or sixth guest.  There is an inside log burning fireplace to keep you warm on the colder winter nights, as well as a built in braai on the stoep – the perfect setting for a lingering braai with family and friends.

Its worth getting up early with a cup of coffee to enjoy uninterrupted views of the sunrise while listening to the sounds of nature around you.
